Per-app time limits, allowed hours and a daily screen-time cap. When time runs out the app locks; anyone who knows the admin code can grant extra time whenever they choose.
Never connects to the internet. The app doesn't even request internet permission. Rules, usage times and the admin code stay in the device's own storage; no data is ever sent to Tengrius or anywhere else.

The app isn't on a store; you install it from this page. That's why Android asks for a few extra approvals — skip step three and protection silently won't work. Step four is optional, but without it notifications remain a way around the lock.
Tap the downloaded file. Android will ask you to "allow installing apps from unknown sources"; grant that permission to your browser and finish the installation.
The first time you open the app, set a 4-digit admin code. A red card appears on the home screen; use its buttons to grant these three: usage access (which app was used for how long), display over other apps (to draw the lock screen) and accessibility service (to see which app is opened).
This step is required if the accessibility toggle is greyed out or turns itself off after you enable it. Android locks this toggle for apps installed outside a store.
Settings › Apps › Ebeveyn Kontrol › ⋮ › Allow restricted settings — then go back to accessibility settings and turn on Ebeveyn Kontrol protection.
A blocked app's notification can get things done without the app ever opening: the Answer button on an incoming call is the sharpest example — a call can be answered from the notification even while the lock screen is up. With this permission, notifications from blocked apps are cleared from the screen.
Enable it with the button on the "Notification access recommended" card on the home screen, or tick Ebeveyn Kontrol in Settings › Notifications › Advanced settings › Notification access. If you skip it, the rest of the app works as before; only this loophole stays open.
Manufacturer skins can put background services to sleep; if that happens, protection stops. On Samsung devices, add Ebeveyn Kontrol to
Settings › Battery and device care › Battery › Background usage limits › Never sleeping apps. On Xiaomi and Huawei the equivalents are the "autostart" and "remove from battery optimization" settings.
During installation Google Play Protect may show an "unknown app" warning. This is because the app isn't distributed through the Play Store; you can verify the file is intact with the SHA-256 hash above.
Each app gets its own rule: unlimited, limited to a number of minutes a day, or blocked entirely. On devices with hundreds of apps, bulk selection applies a rule to dozens of apps at once.
Timed apps won't open outside the set hours. You can also cap total daily screen time across the whole device.
Enter the admin code on the lock screen to grant temporary access from 5 minutes up to 1 hour, or add extra time to the daily allowance.
If several children share the phone, set up each one with a name and date of birth. Time and hour limits are calculated by age and update automatically as the child grows. When handing over the phone you pick who's using it; time spent comes out of that child's allowance.
Weekly total, daily average and a per-app breakdown. Days over the limit are highlighted in a different color on the chart.

No parental control app offers 100% protection against a determined user with physical access to the device. What you should know:
If the app is force-stopped from Settings, Android shuts down the protection service. The "Lock the Settings app" option exists to prevent this.
If the device is booted into safe mode, third-party services don't run.
Rules rely on the device clock. If automatic time is off, the app warns you on the home screen; keeping it on is recommended.
Apps in secondary profiles such as Samsung Secure Folder aren't covered by the rules.
Android may turn off the accessibility service when the app is updated. After installing a new version, check the setup card on the home screen.
